Birth and Baby Pictures

These babies are 100% breastfed and happy.

Mother and two sons

My friend had a successful vaginal delivery of her second son, after the cesarean birth of her first son.  I helped her find information on her choices.  Her second son was born without an epidural or pain medications.  She told me that the birth was a very rewarding experience for her.  Here she is with both of her boys.

Here’s beautiful Breckin just minutes after she was born.

I’m holding Jett at his home visit.  He is vigorous and happy!

Here is Jett with his mom.

Here's Victoria in her first at-home photo session.  Her mother was glad to have a doula assist her labor!

Here I am with a mother and new daughter.

Here's the family with the big brother welcoming his new sister.

Isabella Rose and Parents

Isabella Rose was born by cesarean section.  Her mother was attended by me and a midwife.  Sometimes labor doesn't go as planned, but it is a happy event in any case.

Isabella Rose and Dad

Here is beautiful Isabella Rose and her proud dad.  Happy father's day!

Isabella

Here is a new mother breast feeding her daughter Isabella Maria about twenty minutes after her birth.  Isabella Maria was born in a midwife center, without any pain medication or medical interventions.  They left the center for home five hours after the birth.

Here is Isabella Maria being weighed.  The midwives didn't even take her for weighing until several hours after she was born.
